The value of storytelling and creativity

Illustrators and creative practitioners discussing the value of telling our stories.

In today’s connected and curious world, Africa’s talented creators and storytellers actively contribute to the global creative community and its economy. Even with a multibillion-dollar creative industry, however, many still struggle to build and grow sustainable careers that can support and improve their quality of life. Sharp-Lee Mthimkulu decided that had to change for illustrators like himself. Which is why he created By Way of Illustration, to tell African illustrator stories.  This will work as a launch event for By Way of Illustration and the book project.
