COLLABORATION AND INDEPENDENCE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

A discussion between Lance McCormack and Tshepang Ramoba on the music industry; releasing a song independently and the importance of collaboration and partnership. 


Lance and Tshepang are both based within the Creative Uprising Hub at Constitution Hill. Lance McCormack is the music manager at Flame Studios and says that the aim of the venture is to amplify the voices of South Africa’s next generation of musicians, artists and storytellers. “We hope that Flame Studios will encourage more visitors to this inspiring precinct, and mark a new era of atmosphere at Constitution Hill,” he adds. Tshepang Ramoba is a drummer, vocalist, producer and film music supervisor from Johannesburg South Africa and based at Transwerke Studios. He is a member of the alternative band BLK JKS. This session will be MC’d by Jean-Michel Wickli
